This is the first of series of articles we will review the best wrinkle creams of 2010 one by one until the series culminates in the Best of the best Wrinkle Creams. When it comes to wrinkle creams there is way to many choices. This is why we have organized some of the top wrinkle creams of 2010.

Avotone is The #1 Anti Wrinkle Cream Click Here To Try It Risk Free
Number One: Avotone Wrinkle Relaxant Cream
The first wrinkle cream to be reviewed will be a product of manufacturer Avotone, a fine start to our Wrinkle Cream Review series. The review will be of the specific product "Avotone Wrinkle Relaxant Cream"
Customer testimonials relate reductions in fine lines in less than a week. The pure ingredient skin protectants combine with the hydrating effects of plant-derived lipid oils. The effect is a face whose brightest features shine and spots that shouldn't be there don't stick around. The incorporation of this cream over time will cause the skin to weather better over time, slowing the process of aging by air and free radical oxidation caused by exposure to the effects of the ultraviolet radiation of the sun. These reasons, and the value provided for Avotone's price make this the first feature.
Number Two: Lifecell Life Cell South Beach Skincare Anti-aging Skin Rejuvenation Treatment
The second entry for this Review is Lifecell Life Cell South Beach Skincare Anti-aging Skin Rejuvenation Treatment. This was a natural second choice as it represents another level of sophistication and price and may be the correct choice for an individual who is more concerned or prepared to properly address the preventative or acute needs of facial skin damage. LifeCell aims to fight damage to skin cells by providing oxidation support with antioxidants to prevent oxidation damage by singlet oxygen and sunlight. Protecting from this damage supports the health of DNA and all the tissues in the cell. The layers of the skin are healthier and less stressed and looks better as a result.
Many other entries provide antioxidant support, like our Wrinkle Cream Reviews 2010 entry number one: Avotone Wrinkle Relaxant Cream; but Lifecell Life Cell South Beach Skincare Anti-aging Skin Rejuvenation Treatment provides other benefits that other products may not.
Avotone is The #1 Anti Wrinkle Cream Click Here To Try It Risk Free
LifeCell contains compounds that may help to treat sagging skin specifically and reduce the visible effects of facial muscle changes that are the result of aging. In this way LifeCell is not simply useful as a preventative but is also useful for targeting specific problem areas.
An additional feature of this LifeCell South Beach Skin Treatment is the appearance of a compound that can regulate facial muscular activity to change the characteristics of facial wrinkling. Attention to detail in manufacturing and formulation make this a fine choice for Wrinkle Cream Reviews 2010 entry number two.

I am very straight and I love to take care of my skin....i take care of my skin and hygiene like a woman. One thing for certain, women do not have to worry about my hygiene and cleanliness.Am I too clean for most women or do most of you actually love men like me?
-

QUESTION:
Is ambi skin care just for colored women?
Im white and ive heard alot of good things about Ambi skin care... Is it just for colored women? Would it make a difference if I use it? Im thinking about trying the complexion cleansing bar and the fade cream.-
ANSWER:
Any girls of any color can use Ambi. Don't let the girls on the package fool you. My sister is white, and she uses Ambi to even her complexion and honestly, I can say her skin looks even and softer than ever. It's made for all skin shades but works especially good on women of color because they have more melanin in their skin so the ingredients work with the melanin to even the skin. That's why it is made particularly for women of color but based on my sister's experience, it can be used on all skin tones.Hope I helped and Good Luck!

QUESTION:
Are women ok w/ middle aged men taking care of their skin like a woman so that they keep a younger appearance?
Years ago, I would have never thought I would be doing this but now at 49 years old, I am beginning to see changes (aging) in my skin.I am fit, I work out in the gym. However, I was very hairy and it was starting to turn gray and my skin on my arms and face started to look dry. So I shaved my body hair except arms and legs and I began using skin creams and lotions. After one week, my skin looks great.
I currently take nice warm bubble baths with minerals.
I use skin creams and lotions for my face and body. I used my wife's expensive face cream that I put on at night. I love my new feel. I don't know what it is but I feel better and cleaner. My skin also looks so much better and hydrated.
I know that most men would balk at this idea and think that they would lose their man card. I don't think that at all. I feel rejuvenated and fresh. Now I know why you women do all the things you do and I see nothing wrong with a middle aged man doing the same thing to make himself look and feel better. Also, I am still attracted only to women...it does not make me gay. LOL
Would you be ok with your hubby taking care of his body like I am?
-
ANSWER:
OH, I would love a man like you. My husband does not take care of his skin and his grooming is terrible. He is 52 and just does not give a sh1t anymore. I hate to say it but I am not physically attracted to him anymore. If he shaved his hairy body, used moisturizers on his skin and kept up his general grooming habits, then I would have sex with him more. Some men don't get it. Kudos to you for getting it.

QUESTION:
Skin-care tips for women in their 20s?
I'm 20 and want to start taking better care of myself, especially my skin, and instill healthy habits now. I have quite fair skin, light hair, etc...and have had some pretty bad burns in my life on my face, shoulders and back (mainly when I was a kid), but now I try to avoid the sun during peak hours and wear SPF daily. I drink lots of water, but am going to increase my intake. I'm trying (not that hard, though) to kick my junk food habit and eat more fruits and veggies. Just wondering if women, old and young, have any tips out there for aging gracefully? Would it be any good to start using anti-aging creams now? Or are those all gimmicks that don't actually work? Also, I use a bit of sunless tanner on my face everyday just to give me a little color and look a bit healthier, does anyone know if there are many harmful effects from that? Thanks!-

QUESTION:
What is the best skin care brand for women from 25 to 30 years old?
I am looking for the best brand of skin care for myself. I'm currently 26 and I haven't really found the perfect face cream for myself. I have okay skin with large pore on the T zone and started having some freckles recently. My skin is good when I sleep well but most of the time I don't as I'm a light sleeper. I really want to know is there any products for women in my age range (25-30) because most of the anti aging cream is for people from 30s. I don't mind paying more, so please suggest me anything you know. Many thanks !-
ANSWER:
you should browse the department stores, they usually have a floor with different stalls just selling high end skincare: clinique, estee lauder etc etc. maybe go up to a sales person and ask for a recommendation, or just go browse yourself and see what products you are interested in, make a mental note, then go onto makeupalley.com for reviews. i always head to this site before purchasing something to make sure the product actually has a good rep. the reviews are from people who've used it and they talk about their experience. the people provide a brief account and rate the product based on packaging, cost, and if they would recommend it to a friend. they also give the product a rating out of 5 stars

QUESTION:
How do Asian women afford all these skin care products?
This was on Michelle Phan's Layering Skin Care video."Layering skin care products is very popular in Asia. A poll showed how women in Asia would use about an average of 9 skin care products on a daily basis! So skin care is taken very very seriously."
I personally have no idea how they can afford this. I can only get about (If I'm lucky.) 1 Jar of moisturizer and 1 of eye cream every month. If I'm not lucky, every two months. And, other products - I usually use Aveeno Clear Complexion pads, sea salt from my kitchen to exfoliate, and peppermint extract for my acne. Even the creams I buy, I cannot afford to buy anything over each. So, say both the eye cream and moisturizer are dollars each: That's each time I buy.
Yet, I see girls being able to afford items that cost -0 each item, and they buy a bunch of them. How can they afford this!?
-
ANSWER:
It's something called managing your money, which many Asians are better at. That might sound like a stereotype, but having lived in several places in Asia I know there's a lot of truth to it.But I have to say, Asia is VERY big, so all of that is too much of a generalization(and even though when Americans use the word they usually just mean South East Asia, that part in itself is very culturally diverse). So I doubt that 'poll' was based on anything more than a few urban areas in just one country(if it was even a real poll, that is).

QUESTION:
Why do stupid women spend so much money on beauty creams?
Seriously, why do women spend so much money on beauty creams? For example, my Cosmo magazine is advertising eye gels for dollars. Aren't people smart enough to realize that wrinkles are caused by exposure to the sun and pollutions? The best way to avoid skin damage is by wearing sunscrean and a hat! Exposure to the sun is like cooking in an oven. It will make you nice and brown, but you will dry up and wrinkle. Miracle creams are not going to reverse sun damage.
Be smart ladies, realise that skin care is basic. Keeping out of the sun, away from solariums is the best thing you can do to prevent wrinkles, not by buying a miracle gel.
Sami - that's so true. Multi Million Dollar Cosmetic companies make money out of uneducated people.-
ANSWER:
bandwagon mentality. if 10 women saw Angelina Jolie in a commercial of a beauty cream, mostly, 7 out of 10 would buy the product just because of Jolie's presence. they'd be like, "hey, Angelina's using it, so I'm using it too!" get my drift?

ANSWER:
I have found that the product that makes the most difference in my skin is a vitamin C serum. some of them tend to be pricey but you can get some that are less than . I know juice beauty organics makes one and so do a couple of other organic lines, Avon makes one called clearly C that I like too. You can find tons of them at amazon.com in different price ranges. I put that on at night after i wash my face and before I put on moisturizer. If you want to up the wrinkle power you can follow it with a moisturizer that has retinol (retinyl palmitate, retinoic acid, or vitamin A in the ingredients). In the morning I currently use Olay total effects moisturizer with SPF15. The sunscreen is important for preventing future wrinkles and sun spots. I also like their regenerist line. Look for moistuizers that have antioxidants (vitamins,A,C,E,B5) and/or ingedients that help your skin retain moisture, like hyaluronic acid. If you want to stay on the very cheap side you can just get a vitamin E cream.
Another important thing you can do to help your skin look young is to exfoliate a few times a week. You can buy a scrub with exfoliating beads, or I make my own by simply mixing baking soda and water to make a paste and then massaging that around my skin and rinsing it off. If your skin is very dry you can make one using pure cane sugar and olive oil. You can also put your cleanser on a wash cloth and gently rub it circles around your face and it works better than any store scrub i have tried. Just don't rub too hard with any scrub or your skin will end up raw.
The type of cleanser you want it going to depend on your skin type. In your thirties you are usually starting to go toward the dry side so a lot of foaming cleansers meant for teenage skin will dry you out too much. The dove bar for sensitve skin works really well and even takes off makeup without drying you out. and it only costs a few dollars! I use an acne cleanser only at night because I have the tendency to break out, and the dove bar in the morning. You probably don't need to waste a lot of money on a fancy cleanser that says something about anti-aging becasue in reality it stays on your skin for less than a minute and then you rinse it away.
So here is a list of products that you might like:
-Avon Clearly C serum-
-Dove antioxidant moistuizer- (for night time)
-Olay total effects or regenerist moisturizing lotion with SPF- (you can get a 5 dollar off coupon at olay.com!)
- Dove beauty bar- .50Give the routine a good 6-8 weeks and you should start to see more glowing results. Hope this helps!
One more thing- if you are ever curious about a product you can go to www.totalbeauty.com and get consumer product reviews on thousands of beauty products! It's an easy way to see if something is a waste of money before you buy it.

QUESTION:
How many of your middle aged husbands would rather their skin dry up and look leathery than to us body lotions?
and face creams.I recently got my middle aged husband on body lotions and face creams and his dry skin changed for the better right away. He too now is on board. He was one those that thought taking care of one's skin is for women only. Some men can be so foolish when it comes to skin care. Now he is thanking me because his skin looks younger and softer now.

ANSWER:
The mere fact that you have a middle aged anything is quite remarkable Abbey, us men don't really like being pigeon holed but there are times when a nice soft burlap rub can win over a difference of opinion. Nevertheless, in the face of it some men have that leathery look that comes with keeping a hard line attitude or as it is probably in your case, a high maintenance partner. Renowned skin specialist and walnut furbler Dr Dermot Ollogy is held in very high acclaim by the journal of back yard meddlers who spent recent weekends with the Dr on a 'skin sensation scene', the Portland police dept have a more robust report of the goings on than I can reveal here, but suffice to say that everyone was looking smooth as silk, that was until the weed ran out.
It's great to see that you have him aboard now as the long time immersion in H2O is not good for the elasticity and colour of the epidermis, just make sure you have a couple of warm burlap sacks handy for rubbing him up the right way, wink wink, nudge nudge.Shennies,

ANSWER:
Before we start with the proper daily step-by-step skincare routine, you'll need to know her skin type. How you care for your skin is utterly dependent on the type of skin you have: oily, normal/combination, dry, sensitive or sun- damaged. The characteristics of skin are:
Normal to Dry:
Normal – Not too oily or dry, few blemishes, skin is firm and is generally smooth with small pores. Dry – Due to sun and age, skin may lack natural oils. May look smooth with fine pores, few blackheads and blemishes.Normal to Oily:
Normal – Not oily or dry, few blemishes, skin is firm and is generally smooth with small pores. Oily – Shiny and coarse, may have recurring blackheads and enlarged pores, often youthful looking.Combination:
Oily T-zone (forehead, nose and chin). Normal to dry around cheeks and throat. Can be oily along chin, jaw, temples and dry elsewhere.Acne/Blemishes:
Generally oily. Blackheads and pimples. Potential scarring and pitting.Sensitive:
Extremely delicate. Broken capillaries, veins and vessels beneath skin surface. Should not be over stimulated.Mature:
Fine lines. Loose, “crépe-like” appearance. Loss of elasticity. After choosing your skin type now we can proceed with the step-by-step for a good skin care regimen. This is my skin care regimen from Arbonne http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com

QUESTION:
Skin care problems help?
I'm 20, a woman, and I never had skin problems before, but the last few years after I got into modeling, I noticed a bunch of bumps/acne on my face. I never really did anything about it because all I did and the modeling people did is put makeup on me and the bumps would appear invisible on the pictures and some would photoshop the pics. But now I want the bumps and acne to go away and I want to take care of my skin. I think all the bumps and acne started to appear because of the makeup that was used on me for the modeling jobs. How do I make the acne and bumps go away, how do I take care of my skin, and what creams should I use, what should I do, and for the makeup, how can I know what makeup can cause bunps on your face and which don't. Please help, thanks.
-
ANSWER:
Using makeup that cakes on your face and clogs your pores can cause acne. Buy a cleanser and moisturizer of the same brand and use them morning and night. At night especially before bed is important, your skin ages twice as fast overnight with makeup on so it is very important to take it all off.

works out, is fit and I now want to fight off aging. I understand that aging skin is what makes us look old when we get into upper middle age like myself. I am youthful and want to stay young looking as long as I can so I want to start doing some of what women do for their sking to keep it hydrated, vibrant and young looking. I am very secure in my sexuality so I am not concerned if the products are for women and that they might have some feminine fragrance in them. I am only interested in the BEST lotions and creams for the skin and I do not care if they are made for women, as long as they work. My wife has ideas but I do not think that she uses the best on the market. Thanks for all your tips.

ANSWER:
Men today are even getting more involved to learn what to look for in male skin care ingredients when purchasing antiaging products.Savvy men are finally understanding skin care is not just for women and that it is important not just for cosmetic purposes, but also for all-purpose health.
Gone are the days when products were multi-purpose, such as a soap that can be used for hair, face and body.
If men want to keep skin youthful and healthy looking, they've got to make man skin care a part of their daily regimen.
These simple quick steps include: face cleansers for facial skin cleansing, a quality natural shave cream for shaving, face toning with a facial skin toner, moisturize with face moisturizers, and sun safety to prevent skin sun damage with the use of a face sunscreen.
Consider adding a daily anti-aging treatment to your regimen. It can be as simple as starting with quality anti aging eye creams to protect the delicate eye skin area against lines under eyes and eye wrinkles(crows feet wrinkles) or by adding male facials occasionally.

QUESTION:
skin care regime for a 27 year old woman with adult acne?
i had barely any acne as a teen but i bursted out with acne at this age. i have skin that dries easily but it also can get oily easily. i've tried organic soaps and moisturizers. i tried aveeno, the face pad scrubs, and the foaming soap alone, along with the moisturizer. my face is better but im still getting acne and the scars do not want to go away. what can i do about the acne scars? and also a good cream/moisturizer that will be good for my skin?-
ANSWER:
I can help !
I'm an Esthetician who specializes in Adult Acne. When people in their mid 20s start to experience an acne problem they didn't have in high school, there are normally three explanations. One, the start of new skin care routines in anticipation of "getting older" involving many clogging moisturizers (like Aveeno, unfortunately) and makeup. Two, introduction of birth control in college or later, for actual birth control purposes or hormonal problems associated with conditions such as PMDD or PCOS. Three, new stress from starting out on a career, which is a different type of stress than even occurs in college.
The scars that stick around and take a very long time to go away is called Hyperpigmentation. Basically it's the skin's response to having been traumatized. It's the exact same mechanism as what happens when the sun damages your skin. In essence, the pores, having been irritated by infection and picking of blemishes and blackheads (who can help picking, I can't even help that
), have created massive tans as part of the healing process. If left to go away by themselves, these dark marks would take as long to go away as a really dark tan.So, there's two things that need to be done - one, exfoliation of the skin in and around the pores so that the skin can exchange cells darkened by pigment, and two, prevention of further damage by religiously using sunscreen AT ALL TIMES. Sunscreen has to be completely non-pore-clogging to make sure the breakouts don't happen again. Keep in mind, whatever you do or don't do, sun exposure without protection **will make the scars darker than they already are**.
As for clearing up your acne to begin with, the main focus must be gentle but thorough cleansing, alcohol-free toner to balance the skin so it stops over-producing oil, guaranteed non-clogging and hydrating AM and PM moisturizers (which are actually very hard to find), gentle exfoliation without too much scratching, and pure and effective clay masks used once or twice a week. The key is actually hydration - RULE OF THUMB : The more hydrated your skin is, the more pliable it is. The more pliable your skin is, the less it holds on to the oil that makes blackheads. Every blemish starts out as a microscopic blackhead. A blackhead is nothing but solidified oil.
My web site is FULL of information on how to get rid of acne. Take a look around, see what you think, and then email me from there so we can talk further about your skin. I provide a full, completely personalized email analysis of your skin so that we can totally hone in on exactly what to do about the problem. Everything works for someone, but nothing works for everyone.
Hope this helps

QUESTION:
What Age Should You Start Using Skin Antiaging Products?
Do you already use some product for skin care to avoid aging? I'm 26 and I would like to start a treatment to be younger with 40-50 years but I am afraid to use a wrong cream. My skin is different of a skin of 55 years' woman.-
ANSWER:
Your best option is to start protecting your skin from the sun, right away, every day. Wear a sunscreen with SPF 30 and that will combat wrinkles, sun spots, etc. Also, products with anti-oxidents will trap free radicals that fight aging, and those are found in serums or moisturizers. Antioxidents can be from cherries, blueberries, or green tea found in products. I am 21 and I am already working at keeping my skin healthy by cleansing it properly daily, exfoliating a few times a week to shed the dead skin cells and keep up my cell turnover rate, and giving it plenty of hydration. Spas that do facials have skin care specialist that can recommend what products you should be using..but yes they say no later than 30's should you start preventing aging, but you can definitely get a far head start.

QUESTION:
At what age should a man start maintaining his skin as us women do and do your husbands do it?
I am trying to get my 46 year old husband to start caring for skin like I do. At 44, my skin rivals that of a 30 year old. That is because I use very good products on my skin daily. I tried to explain to my husband that he should use lotions, moisturizers and eye creams to hold off that aging skin. I am beginning to see his skin start to show signs of aging very slightly. I explained to him how vibrant and glowing his skin would look after wards. All my husband tells me is that only gay men use take care of their skin like a woman. URRRRRGGG I could scream he is so wrong. I cannot get through to him but I will not let up. I see his father and uncles that have terrible looking skin and I do not want him to look like them in his 60's.

QUESTION:
Face skin care for 25+ year old?
I'm 27 and my skin is dull and dry looking. I have blackheads on my nose that are slowly moving out to my cheeks. I also notice some crows feet starting. (I don't spend time in the sun anymore and I'm not changing my diet)What is the best face moisturizer (anti wrinkle and anti aging) cream for women in their late 20's? Brand names please.
What can I do about these blackheads?
Thank you (x a million)
NOW changing my diet*-
ANSWER:
I swear by La Roche Posay! Their skincare products are well-priced and honestly worked wonders for the appearance of my skin. I know that dermatologists frequently recommend their lines (both my sister and aunt were told to use it).I use the Effaclar line for oily/acne prone skin, but they have lines for dry skin, sensitive skin, wrinkles, etc. as well. My skin is always glowing and smooth now, and I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten (which is new for me as I always broke out before).
One of my fave products is the physiological ultra-fine scrub that targets blackheads. I used to have the same problem with my nose/cheeks, but I use the scrub every morning and now my blackheads have cleared up substantially.
If you wash twice a day and use the line religiously, I swear it will change your skin so much.

QUESTION:
Hey! Question On skin care?
I've recently changed my facial regimen. My progress is fairly well. I'm no longer dealing with acne but there are scars present from many years of experimentation and lack of knowledge. Now I'm considering an acne scar treatment. Some one recommended bleaching creams. For acne specifically. I understand chemicals such as hydroquinone w/ retinoid cream or glycolic acid are highly favoured with women of colour. The difference in skin pigmentation is why.
Any recommendations?

QUESTION:
Best skin care line for someone in their late 20s wanting to keep youthful appearance as long as possible?
I've never used any skin care line set except for a Mary Kay one that I got as a Christmas gift once. It made me break out on my checks and nose and I hardly ever break out at all, so I quit using it and wound up giving it away to my Mom since none of the Mary Kay stuff causes her any skin problems. So now I'm back to square one, only using St. Ives apricot scrub occassionaly and that's it as far as my skin care regimen goes. If I notice that I have super dry skin, I'll put on a little pure unscented Vaseline on my face or some Eucerin cream as these don't cause me to break out. I'm really worried about getting deep wrinkles later on in life though. My main issues with skin are dryness and I also have pretty sensitive skin. I already have some fine lines on my cheeks, not so much around my eyes, the lines are obvious only on my cheeks but only when I smile. What skin care line do you use to keep your skin looking great? I'd like answers from women of all ages please. Thanks

QUESTION:
what's a good skin care product?
I'm a 23 year old black female and i' ve never used any skin care products for my face. I would like to know some kind of scrub to use everyday or some kind of cream that i could use on my face daily. I am afraid to try just any product because i have very sensitive skin, and if the product is no good then i could break out. I heard the olay definity was good but i also heard it was for older women. I don't have much acne but have like different skin tones on my face. Not like freakish or anything, but up close i notice it. I'm just looking for something that could like even it out.you can see on my myspace that my face looks very clear cause i do makeup professionally.

In reality though it's not so perfect, but im sick of wearing makeup everyday, so i want to try some kind of cream or something to give me the makeup look WITHOUT the makeup.

ANSWER:
i switch off between 2 great skincare systems. olay regenerist and clinique 3 step. the ladies at clinique will match your specific skin with a perfect combination custom fit to your needs. it is slightly pricey, but it lasts FOREVER and works very well. i also use olay regenerist microderm cleansing cloths a few times a week and night moisturizer for anti aging. its not just for old people. every woman should begin anti aging skincare at about age 20 to prevent any visible signs of aging.

http://www.olay.com/boutique/regenerist/products/re1018as far as makeup goes, i personally hate wearing makeup because of the unnatural look of it and the long process. i use a GREAT tinted moisturizer from clinique that evens out skintone, moisturizes, and provides sun protection without looking like makeup. you can barely see or feel it. and its really really fast to put on.

Being a typical man, I've never paid much attention to my skin. Now that I'm in my late 40's I'm thinking I need to. What's a basic skin care plan for a man my age? I don't want to get real involved but is there a face wash or something I should be doing nightly or anything? I do use Nivea cream on my face in the morning after shaving. Trying (Desperately) To Get Into A Good Body Skin Care Regime! Help Please?
Hi everyone! I am currently trying to get a good skin care regime going, I want to put in the effort and get healthy and beautiful skin and basically just look after myself a bit more. I have my face pretty much sorted, I went for a skin consultation and the beauty woman picked out the appropriate cleanser, toner and moisturizer and it is working well. I think I might need to go back though as I have a lot of blackheads on my nose that are just not clearing (not even those nose strips work for me) so I thought maybe a facial exfoliate would help? Is there any home remedies to blackheads or would a facial exfoliater for my skin type be a good idea?Ok so that was the first question now onto the other. I have my facial system pretty much covered but now I have to get the body skin care sorted. When it comes to my body I don’t know when/if/where I should exfoliate, if I do should I use a scrub or those little mittens. I don’t know when I should moisturize/how/where I should moisturize, should I use a cream or baby oil? Should I exfoliate every time I have a bath and moisturize every crack and crevice afterwords or once a week or 3 times a week?! Basically could you tell me a good system to look after my body’s skin (i.e what should I be doing and how many times a week I should be doing it). As you can tell I am a skincare novice lol so go easy on me! There are a lot of questions I know so thank you for bearing with me and thank you in advance for any answers! Xx
Thank you Ms

QUESTION:
Best skin cream for wrinkles and texture?
I am a 41 year old woman. I have always been told that I look young for my age, however, I do have fine lines around my eyes, forehead and mouth. I would like to try to get into a daily skin care routine to help stop or minimize wrinkles, tighten skin and reduce that puffiness and/or darkness under my eyes. Currently I just wash my face with soap and water and use a moisturizer on it in the morning. I don't have a problem with acne or anything. I have been searching the web for the best anti wrinkle creams and so much comes up that it is hard to decide. I don't want to have to spend a whole lot on this. I have been looking at Olay but not sure if that works, RoC, and others. I just need some help from people with actual experience in anti aging/wrinkle creams to help me narrow down my choices. I have combination skin and am not allergic to anything. Any advice on this would be helpful as there is so much to choose from and they all say the same thing.-
ANSWER:
I have been using Retin-A (Tretinoin) since it was introduced for the treatment of acne. Today I use Neutrogrna products with retinol (a milder form of Retin-A) in them and I hardly look my age - 62. You do have to "use as directed" to prevent superficial burning or redness of the skin. Pretty much, any product with retinol in them should work.I don't have a picture to show you only what others have told me.
All the Best.

QUESTION:
Is it ok for a straight man to wear Ladys Speed Stick and used face creams and body lotions?
I do and I love the way I feel now. I feel very clean and I smell fresh. Yet society here in America loves to look down on men, especially straight men, that takes care of their skin like I do and wear women's deodorant. Not that I care because I am going to do what I want anyway. But just curious how women feel about men that do what I do.
-
ANSWER:
Oh, it's so sad that people have to ask these questions (I know you're happy with yourself so I don't mean you particularly, but that you are anticipating a negative reaction). Gender stereotyping does nothing but repress people and make them feel guilty or "wrong" for behaving in a way their gender isn't supposed to. There's no biological hardwiring stating that women take care of their skin and men don't, so I will never understand why people freak out that a man wants to do the same. It doesn't mean you're gay, nor would it be an issue if you were. It just means that you've found a routine that works for you and you're going to stick with it - what's wrong with that? As a society, we have a ridiculous notion that only women and gay men take care of their skin, whereas men are rugged and stubbly and wash their hair, face and body with one soap. What you're doing is fine and I'm glad you're not going to change for other people's ludicrous small-mindedness!

QUESTION:
women are you this easily manipulated?
I saw an add on the TV for a skin cream specifically made for skin after acne and before wrinkles what they called "in-between" skin. Isn't that skin already at it's possible best? Isn't that for women who are in their 20's, 30's, 40's ect? So what they're saying is that your skin sucks even though your in your prime. Do most of you actually believe this? My women does, she has many skin/hair care products.
max-do what I do, stuff a sock in your pants and feed the girl tequila all night so she won't remember. lol.
am-I complain because I got daughters who I don't want caking that crap all over there faces for the rest of their lives. Some of the girls are 7 going on 18, it's brutal.-
ANSWER:
Women are judged by their looks far more than men are, and this tends to make us more concerned about our appearance. I regard myself as being well down at the lower end of obsessing over my looks,by comparison with what I know of other women, but I am susceptible to the idea of preserving my looks all the same. I've always used moisturiser for instance, and I now use an anti-wrinkle cream specifically for women around the meonpausal years."But you haven't got any wrinkles" my husband observes when he sees me putting it on. "Well, that proves it works, doesn't it?" I reply smugly.
Sorry, but when I see Andi McDowell advertising the cream that I use on TV it DOES have an effect on me. Yes, sadly, I am that easily manipulated.

QUESTION:
I have dark rings under my eyes. Best way to improve it?
I'm starting to get a few puffy dark rings under my eyes, and I'm getting that perpetually "tired" look. I would like my face to look "fresh", without those rings or the puffiness. It could be genetic, as I've noticed that my dad also has puffy skin under his eyes (though he has no dark rings).Does anybody know of any skin creams or ointments that improve or eliminates this? I would like to know of any particular brands or products that improve this condition. And of course, I would prefer brands of cream/ointment for MEN, if possible. It would also help if they are affordable (and not 200 bucks a pop like those special creams from beauty salons) and easily obtainable.
And guys - please, none of that 'you're gay cos you care about your skin!' crap. I'm a straight man, I'm secure with myself, and just looking for a solution. Only mature answers, please. Men and women welcome.

ANSWER:
Ok, let me tell you something. Nothing that makes you good looking is gonna be cheap. But I can assure you that this product works. It's called Hylexin. http://www.bremennlabs.com/hylexin/
You can find it easily at Sephora, it costs a bit (.00) but I'll repeat, IT WORKS. FOR SURE. I've been using it and after just 1 week there is a total difference! and they even have a money back guarantee on the product, so if you don't see any results, you just get the back!!! So what is there to loose???Do you know what actually "causes" serious dark circles? I thought I did... but I was wrong. Like most people, I thought dark circles were caused by hard partying, working late, being tired or simple allergies. But according to most research dermatologists, serious dark circles (the kind that make you look old, tired and exhausted) are about, of all things, the oxidation of hemoglobin (blood) in the capillary matrix of the peri-orbital eye area. What a mouthful!
These capillaries actually "leak" blood that begins to oxidize (through a process called hemoglobin degradation)... creating a dark bluish-red pigmentation that looks distinctly like an ugly bruise.
What does all that mean in plain English? Tiny little capillaries deposit blood around your sensitive eye area. The blood turns deep purple and you end up looking like you just went 12 hard rounds in a boxing ring
Where's the Proof?
In scientific studies, Hylexin® has been shown to help reduce hemoglobin degradation byproducts by optimizing enzymatic activity... reducing the appearance of deep discoloration and red-blue pigmentation. Studies also confirm that Hylexin® actually helps strengthen the capillary matrix to help stop the "leaking"... so your orbital eye area is protected against further damage. Science is soooo cool!

QUESTION:
Why does society label men that shave chest, back and armpits as gay when most of us are not?
I am mid 40's and began taking care of my skin and began shaving my upper body and keep my pubes man scaped. In the past 3 years, I had so my hair on my chest and back that it did not look good at all and my wife hated it. This hair growth was brought on by testosterone replacement due to my diagnosis of low T. I was hairy before I started injections so you can imagine how hairy i became. With the shaving that i do now, I use a lot of creams, skin softeners and moisturizers. My wife says that I look 10 years younger and that my skin is nice and soft now. With all of this shaving of my body, i have to manage my skin like a woman does. My wife does not want my body to exfoliate hers so I used a lot of skin softeners and moisturizers. I even use lady speed stick deodorant because i like the smell. I am also using my wife's skin care products on my face which has done wonders for my face. My skin looks and feels great now. My wife says that my hygiene practices is not just for women, but straight men too.
So all of this would have some of you closed minded men and women tell me that i am gay. Not hardly, I still am only attracted to women and I do not feel feminine. I also still bench press 300 lbs.....shaving and skink creams did not change that.
So why do some of you label me gay when I am not?
Women, what are your thoughts about my female hygiene practices?
-
ANSWER:
Personal hygiene "AWESOME" Men need to follow your examples! I hardly think women would think you were gay if you're married. But if they do ignore them you know you're not so what's the problem? And using female products is fine! if it works for you and makes you look better then i see no harm. I suppose your friends would give you a bit of trouble for it. But if its what your wife likes and what you like *mainly what you like* then i think products even though they are labeled for opposite genders are fine for anyone. I go to an all girls school. And there are girls there that were male deodorant i don't think they are gay.

QUESTION:
I'm hating my skin at the moment, what can I do to help it?
My face skin is really starting to get me down, I'm quite pale, not like white, but I wouldn't say I'm very tan cause of all the things you read about skin cancer. I only wash my face in the morning if I shower, and I use the Burt's Bees Deep Cream Cleanser, but at night I always wash with Lush's angels on bare skin cleanser, or I use their mask of magniminty, and then a vitamin e face cream. There are some women who are people but have gorgeous, soft looking, porcelain type skin. I hate my skin at the moment, it's not a nice pale, it's an 'I look sick' pale. What can I do to help brighten it up, I have a few spots but not many, maybe 2 or 3, and quite a lot of blackheads which I'm trying really hard to get rid of. What are some good tips for fresh skin? Or good skin care products, I like all natural and organic.
I meant women who are pale, not women who are people lol-
ANSWER:
Try facial masks. There's facial masks that hydrates, lightens, purify. Use it once or twice a week for 15~20 minutes. It really helps. At least it helped me. I have rough skin with some dark spots from pimples. And every time I use it, it makes my skin fresh and soft. Try ChiQui Beaute, that's what I use.The Citrus Happy mask helps with dry skin. It hydrates and moisturizes. Great for all skin types. Relaxes the physical and emotional tension in your skin through Citrus Aromatherapy for a stress-free, at home spa session.
The Mud To Go mask comes in two different kinds. Purifying and Lightening. The purifying is my favorite. It get rid of blackheads. You don’t even have to put it all on your face, it could just be on your nose. It works really well. Giving you a fresh feeling afterward. The lightening mask basically get rid of dark spots. Darkness that shouldn’t be there.

QUESTION:
I am 27 year woman and looking for advice to maintain healthy, blemish/scars free skin, and restore the glow.?
I am 27 year woman and looking for advice to maintain healthy, blemish/scars free skin, and restore the glow and radiance.
Biggest problem I face in maintaining a good skin as I always had freckles on my faces and now I also have breakout problem, its not very frequent but once every month my skin develops one or two minor acne/pimple and leaves scars by the time it gets over making my skin uneven and spotty. When I was in India I used to take Neostrata glycolic peel sessions under doctors prescription which really helped in removing scars and lighting my freckles but not sure how to take care of my skin in USA.
Presently I am using Neutrogena Visibly Even® Foaming Cleanser and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiance Cream SPF 15 but not using any night creams. Should I use some night cream? I have observed my skin is dull, full of freckles and post breakout marks. Also I apply faceclin gel on acnes/pimples but seems it has slow and a little effect.
I have also heard of glycolic acid, retinoic and kojic acid they are helpful in reducing the spots and freckles and also good for skin but not sure where to find them and their use. There are lot of brands in market like clinique, elizabeth arden, neutrogena, Olay etc which promise for good skin making it tougher to choose the right product for right solution. Can anybody please help?-
ANSWER:
I use garnier products but i am much older then you. The best thing for your skin is water. . . drink lots of it. As for blemishes ( this is going to sound odd) use a dab of hemroid ointment on breakouts. Seriously, your pimples will be gone quick. DONT PICK at pimples. Another trick for fading scars and freckles is lemon juice. To prevent pimples and to tighten pores, use egg whites. Take one or two eggwhites and smooth over face. Wait until it drys, take some gentle face cleanser and wash off. You will feel the difference. GOOD LUCK!

QUESTION:
Question for women please.?
Alright so my mom told me a little to late "if you shave it will grow back darker and thicker" so I started shaving my pubic hair when I was really young. You can imagine where I'm getting at. In any case, I try to maintain a "tame" shag but it's not as sexy I find, nor does my boyfriend. The problem is that if I shave, or even nair, my skin reacts sooo badly to it. I used shaving cream, I didn't leave the nair on too long. In the end it always gets irritated. Any suggestions?! Either to get rid of it without the irritation or to make it less noticeable. Because the role playing with costumes or the tying him up and blind folding him is starting to die out... probably more than anyone needed to know, but as you can see I am running out of options. And yes I am putting this in women's health because this isn't exactly a "beauty/skin care" question.
*Edit. I haven't shaved in a long time though. At the moment it's just the nair causing this. Mayb its the clothing rubbing against me. If that's the case am I just supposed to wear loose clothing and no underwear?! Also, I have heard of this bikini zone thing. I may just give that a try. And I have had laser hair removal before for the under arms (didn't do all the appointments.. but that hurt like a bitch!) Also, even when I waxed my brows, my skin would irritate, so that's a "hell no" for waxing down there lol-
ANSWER:
I've never tried it but people say that the product "Bikini Zone" works pretty well. It's supposed to get rid of the irritation bumps and redness.

or even if you do with your kids? just a random question to see if I'm the only one. Once a week, I give my husband a full facial, normally on sunday evenings. That includes cleansing, exfoliating,a facial mask, toning, and moisturizing. He loves it!He can really use them as well lol. Its real nice and giving me the chance to care for him. I do the same with my 2 boys, but they get one twice a week(they don't need it as bad but really keeps their little faces smooth). they are 13 and 10 and I give it to them in the evenings after their shower, its soo adorable!! their skin is completely flawless!I do my husbands nails occasionally, but he doesn't like pedicures all that much. But my boys on the otherhand I give them pedicures once a week with a full clear coat and nail filing, exfoliating and a foot massage with vitamin e cream(no nail polish lol!) and I have given my husband bubble baths plenty of times

ANSWER:
I think it all depends on the man... I've had boyfriends in the past that absolutely love pampering and others who consider that "girly stuff". Although if you use terms like "hand massage" rather than manicure, even the most macho guys may give it a try!I personally love doing stuff like this, and I like it when my guy does too - it gives us something else we can enjoy together!
